Art Therapy

Art has always been something I've intuitively used since childhood to process challenging experiences and emotions. To do art therapy you do not need to be a trained artist! I invite you to use art as a tool of exploration.

 

Because art activates emotional parts of the brain, art helps facilitate a deeper healing process rooted in our nervous system.

 

Art can give voice to emotions and experiences we don't have the words to express. Art can unveil the solution to a problem we have spent weeks trying to solve. Art can pull us out of rumination and give our minds a break. Art helps to bring us into our bodies, creating a greater relationship with ourselves and the experience of creating and witnessing art with others can even bring us closer to our loved ones.
